Red is heading off to Cairns this weekend, with his trainer and handler Justin Jordan, to watch the St.George Queensland Reds rugby team play in their first pre-season match against the Rebels.
The flight from Brisbane to Cairns will be Red’s first ever plane flight, and he’s taking it all in his stride!
Reporting from the airport this morning, Justin said “Red wanted to give the captain a hand, but for some reason they think they have it covered without him and prefer him to be downstairs! Red didn’t like me leaving him, but that’s normal. He walked straight into the crate as soon as I opened it.”
The match was scheduled at Barlow Park in Cairns for Saturday 31 January 2015 at 7:30 pm AEST. Ticket and broadcast information in the original announcement is now historical.
Red Dog is the junior mascot of the Queensland Rugby Union, and Jordan Dog Training are proud to be his official trainer and handler.
