About us

Our vision for Jordan Dog Training is to enhance the relationship between dogs and their owners by teaching you how to communicate effectively with your best friend.

When your dog understands what behaviours are acceptable, they are able to be included in more everyday activities… in turn, they will thrive from the increasing levels of interaction they receive.

Jordan Dog Training’s founder Justin Jordan is considered a specialist in canine body language and will share with you training methods that will strengthen your bond with your best friend and transform them into a well-mannered canine citizen.

We use simple, effective, balanced positive reinforcement methods that are recommended by vets and breeders around the country.

Our training methods are based on the domestic dog’s instinctive pack behaviour, using only balanced positive reinforcement techniques and rewards. No fear-based or harsh methods are used.

Our In-Home Training and Group Obedience classes teach dog owners the value of communicating gently and intelligently with their pets, sometimes known as dog whispering, and how they can think in a canine way for more successful interaction and problem solving.

Whether you are planning on raising the perfect puppy, currently have a dog with problems, or a problem dog… we can help. Contact us today!

Lex the labrador makes a friend

What our clients say about us...

Where’s Wally

…that was the $10,000,000 question..our adopted Labradoodle Wally had issues getting around the house… he was always getting “stuck” unable to move down hallways and stairways without us assisting him.. after consultanting our vet who was unable to offer any medical advice.

A friend recommended Leah, as they’d had amazing result with their dog. We made an appointment with Leah, who came to our home for a one on one with Wally.

After listening to us and observing Wally, Leah suggested that it may be a tactile issue and recommended either “toe grips” or hall runner carpet.. we opted for some cheap hall runners and within 2 -3 days Wally was making great progress and moving more freely around the house unassisted.

Leah was prompt, friendly, courteous and professional and we have no hesitation in recommending her and Jordan Dog Training. Thank you Leah!
