Dog obedience training helps to strengthen your bond and communication with your dog, even in the face of distractions.
Like human infants, young puppies and dogs benefit greatly from early exposure to different people and other animals. It is both to your advantage and theirs to develop a positive relationship, free from hostility or attachment issues. We believe that the time and patience involved in taking your pooch to classes will reward you with a gift that lasts a lifetime – that enduring connection and sense of loyalty that is unique to owners and their four-legged friends.
Jordan Dog Training offers dog obedience classes for dogs from the age of 5 months, with no upper age limit. It is an invaluable investment that continues the socialisation experience for your dog and will assist you in maintaining the leadership role in your relationship. If your dog has specific behavioural problems, such as excessive barking or separation anxiety, we recommend a private in-home dog training session before the next step of undertaking group obedience training.
Dog obedience classes are three weeks of one hour lessons, priced at $250 per participant* and are held in various locations around the Brisbane region (see below). Our team can recommend trainers in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba areas.

” Really helped me with my crazy airedale. Fun and friendly group obedience training. Love being able to go back anytime I need. Thank you. ”
5 Stars – Claire Lunardi
” Excellent dog training and puppy preschool! We all learnt a lot and Bailey came out of her shell being able to play with the other dogs (despite being the largest one there). We are definitely signing up for obedience school next! Thanks Justin! ”
5 Stars – Matt Wilson
” Our baby Banjo just graduated from his puppy pre-school class! Justin is an amazing trainer. He provides useful and valuable information to first-time puppy parents and helped us through small behavioural challenges with our Border Collie baby. The socialisation with the other puppies was excellent too and so much fun. We will definitely be back for obedience class and would recommend Jordan Dog Training to everyone!”
5 Stars – Sherin Skye Rodriguez
” Our Border Collie puppy Ruby graduated last week from puppy school. The socialisation was brilliant for her as she was a little timid to start with however by the last week she was actually initiating play. Justin also had lots of useful tips re feeding and training too. We will definitely be back for obedience school next year. ”
