$359 covers the full three-week course and lifetime membership. Attend one hour a week for three consecutive weeks. After completing the course, return to any of our Group Obedience venues as often as you like, for the life of your dog, with no further class fees.

At least one trainer for every three dogs
Dogs learn best with consistency, structure and encouragement. Our group obedience classes have at least one trainer for every three dogs, so you and your dog can get practical support throughout the class.
For 1 to 3 dogs, we have at least one trainer. For 4 to 6 dogs, we have at least two; for 7 to 9 dogs, at least three.
Please register in advance. Your booking helps us organise the right number of trainers for every class.
For dogs from five months old, with no upper age limit
Build practical manners, strengthen your communication and give your dog opportunities to practise around everyday distractions. Group obedience also helps you continue your dog’s socialisation as they grow.
If your dog has specific behavioural concerns, such as excessive barking or separation anxiety, we recommend an in-home dog training session before moving into group classes.

When you enrol your dog in one of our group obedience courses, this includes Obedience for Life membership.
After the initial three-week course, your dog is welcome to return to unlimited additional classes at no additional cost – for the life of the dog at any of our training locations.

Arrive 15 minutes early, especially for your first class, and allow extra time for parking at busy venues.
Keep dogs apart. Please do not allow on-lead greetings with other dogs.
Choose your location and starting date, then select BOOK NOW to complete your registration.
The dates shown below are the starting dates for our three-week Group Obedience Course.
Choose the date you would like to start. Your booking automatically includes classes on the same day and at the same time for three consecutive weeks. You only need to book once and make one payment for the complete three-week course.
After completing the three-week course, your dog receives lifetime membership. You can then return to any of our Group Obedience classes, at any location, as often as you like, for the life of your dog, with no further class fees.

Due to construction works at our North Lakes venue, our Group Obedience classes are temporarily unavailable at that location.
We currently expect classes to resume in January or February 2027, subject to completion of the venue works. The return date is still to be confirmed. We’ll update the timetable and booking availability once dates are finalised.
In the meantime, we’d love to welcome you at one of our other North Brisbane Group Obedience locations:
Lifetime Members are welcome to attend classes at any of our venues during this time, and can simply return to North Lakes once classes resume. Just book in directly with the Trainer (see below), and we’ll look forward to seeing you in class!

Keep practising, with no further class fees
Once you have completed your initial Group Obedience course and received your Lifetime Membership Card, you can return to any of our venues with no further class fees. Come as often as you like, including multiple times a week, for the life of your dog.
Confirmation from the trainer is essential. We allocate training resources 48 hours before each class, based on confirmed attendance. If your attendance has not been confirmed, you may be turned away.

Obedience classes will help with general obedience issues.
Issues such as:
barking,
jumping up,
destructive behaviour,
separation anxiety, and
aggression
are behaviour issues rather than obedience issues – and an in-home consultation would be far more beneficial in resolving the issues.
With our experience, techniques and guidance - and with a little work, time and patience on your part - we know your dog will respond.
Our training program provides you with guidance to continue developing your dog’s newfound manners.
We offer lifetime membership to our obedience classes, meaning you can return to as many classes a week at any location for the life of your dog, so you and your best friend always have support if further guidance is needed.
No, not at all!
We work with dogs of all ages and have effective results regardless of the age.
We prefer more modern, gentle techniques, which are more effective and beneficial to your relationship with the dog.
We suggest you bring a standard collar and leash to our obedience classes.
We do not allow check chains to be used in any of our classes.
We believe in any form of positive reward that helps to motivate your dog.
This includes praise, toys, clicker or treats, depending on the situation and the dog.
Yes - however venue locations are subject to change, especially during inclement weather.
If a venue location or class update occurs you will be notified ahead of time, and have the option to re-book at one of our other locations.
Lifetime Membership applies only to the dog who completed the initial Obedience class, and lasts for the life of that dog.
If you have more than one dog, or add another dog to your family, each dog will need to complete a group obedience class to obtain their own Lifetime Membership.
