Robyn has always had a deep connection with animals, especially dogs, who have been part of her family since day one. From the age of 15, Robyn has been the proud owner of one or more dogs at any given time, and her current companion, Xena, is a spirited rescue pup. Every one of her dogs has been a stray, a rescue, or a pup that breeders didn’t want, reflecting the heart of Jordan Dog Training’s mission to help all dogs, especially those in need of a second chance. This commitment to giving underdogs a fresh start is central to our trainers’ philosophy.

Robyn’s path into dog training began on her uncle’s cattle property, where she was captivated by the working dogs’ responsiveness to her commands. Her passion truly took off with her first Irish Setter, who accompanied her to classes at the Murrumba Obedience Club, sparking a love for training that soon led to competitive trialling and an extended role as a trainer at the club. For Robyn, watching dogs learn and thrive became more than a pastime – it was a lifelong calling.

With a firm belief in responsible dog ownership, Robyn is committed to creating strong bonds of trust and understanding between dogs and their humans. She knows that compassionate, gentle training brings out the best in both, paving the way for joyful and harmonious relationships.

Robyn’s professional journey has always been driven by a desire to help others, with past roles as a teacher, counsellor, and funeral celebrant. These experiences have made her a “human trainer” at heart, but her unwavering love for dogs has remained her true passion. Now, as part of the Jordan Dog Training family, Robyn is thrilled to work alongside professionals who share her dedication to dogs and their well-being. She feels privileged to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact with a team she deeply admires.
