Double Ended Dog Lead

Our double ended dog lead gives you more than one way to walk your dog. It has a clasp at each end and two D-rings along the lead, so you can adjust how you use its 180cm length.

We often recommend this lead to clients who are introducing a training halter. You can attach one clasp to the halter and the other to your dog’s collar. This gives you a separate collar connection while your dog gets used to wearing the halter.

Why Choose a Double Ended Lead?

You can clip the lead into different positions to change the length you use. The two clasps also let you connect it to two suitable attachment points, such as a training halter and collar.

That flexibility is particularly useful when you are helping a dog become comfortable with a new halter. Start gradually, reward your dog for wearing it and keep the lead relaxed as you practise.

Choosing a Width

Both widths are the same approximate length. Choose the 17mm lead if you prefer a narrower lead in your hand, or the 25mm lead if you prefer a wider one.

Using Your Lead Safely

Check the clasps and stitching before each walk. Make sure each clasp is securely attached before you set off. If you use the lead as a temporary tether, stay with your dog and supervise them at all times.
