In-home Behaviour Training

Home consultations, tailored to your dog

Practical, one-on-one behaviour training in your own home, at a time that suits you.

Our Brisbane-based behaviour trainers assess your dog, their environment and your everyday routines, then develop a balanced, holistic training plan for your family.

We work at your dog’s pace, helping you build trust, communicate clearly and practise consistent habits.

A gentle, practical approach

  • Balanced training that considers your dog’s individual needs.
  • No electric collars or harsh punishments.
  • Attention to the reasons behind the behaviour.
  • Clear techniques you can practise together at home.

What happens during your home consultation

Our consultation follows five practical steps, from understanding your dog’s behaviour to helping you keep the training going at home.

We use the same gentle, balanced approach that guides our puppy school and obedience courses, with individual coaching for your dog and family.

1. Understand your dog

Your trainer visits your home to assess your dog’s behaviour, their environment and your family’s needs.

2. Make sense of the behaviour

We explain what we’ve observed, the reasons behind the behaviour and the practical next steps.

3. Practise together

We demonstrate suitable training techniques and coach you as you practise with your dog.

4. Follow a clear plan

You receive an individual training plan to build on the session and guide your practice at home.

5. Keep the support going

You can contact us by phone or email for lifetime support with the training we’ve covered.

Practical help with your dog’s behaviour

Every dog and household is different. From an excitable puppy to an older dog with unwanted habits, we tailor the training to the behaviour you would like help with.

Our consultations cover concerns such as destructive behaviour, crate training and loose lead walking, along with the topics below.

For practical starting points, read our guides to mounting and humping, whale eye and dog body language, and storm phobia in dogs. Recurring anxiety or a sudden behaviour change also deserves veterinary advice.

If the behaviour happens while you are away, our independent Furbo pet camera information explains how footage can help you describe the pattern, including tracking, recording and AI-alert limitations. A camera supports observation and does not diagnose or treat separation anxiety.
