A qualified veterinary nurse, Tabatha began nursing in the late 90’s. Tabatha has held positions in general practice, speciality and emergency clinics.

It was through her position of nearly a decade in one of Brisbane’s largest specialist hospitals, where the first dedicated oncology unit housing the first linear radiation units in the southern hemisphere, that she developed her skill set to a level which saw her become Head Nurse and Operations/Marketing Manager.

In 2015, Tabatha left full-time clinical practice to start her first business Help Meowt (business consultancy for the veterinary industry), followed shortly thereafter by Beaky Things (e-commerce store for bird toys). In addition to joining the team at ACVN (Australian College of Veterinary Nursing), one of the most progressive and well-known training colleges for veterinary nurses all over the world, as a Nurse Educator.

In 2018, Tabatha launched her third business, Fur Aid. Jordan Dog training is proud to have Tabatha in the team, providing a high standard of first aid training to pet owners. Tabatha is currently undertaking additional study in this area and hopes to soon become a Certificated Recover Instructor.

At home, Tabatha has a house full of rescues including three dogs and four parrots. She has a soft spot for those who need a little extra help and attention.
