Dog Obedience Training

Obedience classes will help with obedience issues, and we do offer those (see group obedience classes).

For more in depth behaviour issues, i.e. barking, jumping up, destructive behaviour, separation anxiety, aggression – which are behaviour issues rather than obedience issues – a private consultation would be far more beneficial in resolving the issues. View details of in-home dog training.

With our experience, techniques and guidance, with a little work, time and patience, we know your dog will respond.

Our training program provides you with guidance to continue developing your dog’s newfound manners. We offer lifetime support for you and your best friend if further guidance is needed.

No. We work with dogs of all ages and have effective results regardless of the age.

Yes. With over 30 years of training and working with dogs, it is likely that we have worked with your specific breed on many occasions.

This is preferable but not essential, as we are looking for consistency from the whole family to get the desired results from your best friend.

We are very flexible and will work with you to find a mutually agreeable time.

Yes. This is just as much about training the dog as it is about training the guardian.

In most cases, yes, one session is enough.

For more extreme cases, a follow up session may be appropriate two to three weeks after the initial consultation.

Upon rebooking, this fee will be deductible off the final invoice.

The training is just as much about training the trainer as it is about the dog.

If we can get the trainer to send the right signals, the dog will respond instinctively.

Yes. We leave our direct contact numbers and are available to you 7 days a week for ongoing support.

Yes, you could, but we believe in training the trainer and the dog in its home environment rather than just the dog in a strange environment.

In the dog’s home environment, we can see the dog’s true colours and behaviour, and personalise the training to both the dog’s and the family’s specific needs.

We prefer more modern, gentle techniques, which is more effective and beneficial to your relationship with the dog.

We believe in any form of positive reward that helps to motivate your dog. This includes praise, toys, clicker or treats, depending on the situation and the dog.

Yes. Preferably one handler per puppy unless previously arranged.

Socialisation is the key factor for puppy pre-school, not just training the trainer, in this precious imprinting stage.

We have puppy schools all over Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Click here for puppy school locations.

We request and view vaccination certificates of all puppies starting puppy classes.

All of our puppy schools are held in a controlled and safe environment, only in vet clinics, so as not to endanger the wellbeing of your dog.
